- Attended Arkansas State University from 1988-1992, graduating with a marketing degree.
- Became a licensed insurance agent in 1993.
- Established The Jenkins Agency, Inc. in 1999, specializing in life and health products.
- Became a partner in HJY, Inc., DBA The Country Club of Arkansas, in 2002.
- Became a Partner in Arkansas Insurance Partners Inc., established in 2008, specializing in property and casualty products.
- Married 1997, 3 daughters.
- 3-time Arkansas State Golf Association Player Of the Year.
- Currently serving on the Board of Directors for multiple non-profit organizations
